for your daily health care

Vol. 44 Finger Nail Massage

Today I would like to introduce a method to boost your immune power.

This method was introduced by Dr. Minoru Fukuda and Dr. Toru Abo.

The function of our body is balanced when the autonomic nervous system is stable.
The autonomic nervous system consists of the Stress Nerve (sympathetic nerve) and the Relax Nerve (parasympathetic nerve).
When the Relax Nerve is active, the number of lymphocytes is big, which means immune power is strong.
(Please refer to My Mentors' Advice Vol. 2 and 3 for the detail.)

In most cases, when the Stress Nerve is active and the Relax Nerve is weak, we get sick.
The massage I will introduce today is easy and has ability to activate the Relax Nerve.

Now let's try!

+ Location to stimulate: Both sides of corners of nails, where the nails grow.
+ Fingers to stimulate: 4 fingers EXCEPT the Ring Fingers.
+ How to stimulate: Press the area with the thumb and index finger of the opposite hand.
+ Strength to stimulate: As much as feels a little bit painful. If pressing with the fingers is difficult, you can use a ballpoint pen instead.
+ Length to stimulate: Press the area for 10 seconds for each finger.
+ How often to stimulate: 2~3 times a day

Don't stop the massage after only a few days, but instead keep trying even if you don't get any immediate changes.

The important thing is to continue.

This is a very easy and effective method, so please continue for at least a month.
